The General Store is open!

I am not sure of the hours, but I believe they are open from 4:00 PM until midnight on Thursdays and 11:00 AM until midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are closed Monday through Wednesday. To confirm their hours you may want to call them at (319) 462-4399.

I have eaten there several times and the food has been very good. I haven’t heard any complaints from anyone. In fact, I have heard more than one person say that they make the best pork tenderloin sandwich in Iowa. Now that’s saying something, because there are a number of eating establishments in this area that make that claim. Come and try it for yourself.
