The Stone City Foundation would like to invite you to attend the transferring of the deed of the 147 year old Blacksmith Shop. The Blacksmith Shop is one of the original buildings in Stone City and will be transferred to The Stone City Foundation Saturday June 7, 2008 at 1:00 pm.
Please join us for this celebration, enjoy the sites of Stone City and listen as The Stone City Foundation shares its future preservation plans for this historical Iowa small town.

1:00 PM – 1:30 PM -Transferring Blacksmith Shop
1:30 PM – 2:30 pm – Tours of Stone City
- General Store will be open- Refreshments available here all day.
- Nichole’s Decor & More (gift shop in the water tower) will be open all day, bake sale all day with proceeds going to The Stone City Foundation.
- St Joseph’s Catholic Church will be open 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
- Community Center (school house) open 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm - Strawberry short cake & Ice cream available.
- Viewing from the outside of the Ice House, Stone Barn and other historic buildings and sites in Stone City.

- Nicholes Décor & More and The General Store will be open all day (their regular hours) Bake sale at the gift shop with proceeds going to The Stone City Foundation.
- 10:00 am – 4:00 pm - Blacksmith Shop – St Joe’s Catholic Church – Community Center (School) Strawberry Shortcake & Ice Cream available.
- Viewing from the outside of the Ice House – Stone Barn – other historic buildings and sites in Stone City.
